Despite being the culture capital of the world, Los Angeles is experiencing rising inequality. Far too many LA girls of color lack resources, access to career pathways and opportunities,
limiting their ability to thrive.
Girls Inc. LA equips girls to defy limitations and stereotypes.
Girls Inc. has championed girls for 160 years, building self-esteem, developing life skills and enabling academic achievement.
By 5th grade, girls are half as active as boys in physical activities, leading to increased risk of long-term negative health impacts.
Post Girls Inc. programming, 80% of girls report they believe they can be good at STEM.
