Chief Executive Officer

Erin Ross is the CEO of Girls Inc. of Los Angeles, an organization that inspires all girls to be strong, smart and bold. Since 2021 she has led the revitalization of the organization as it emerged from the pandemic. Girls Inc. LA now serves more than 1000 girls in partnership with eight LA Unified District schools and community partners. She also launched the annual “LA Girls Rise” event that has raised more than $1.7M since its inception to fuel the organization’s impact. In 2024, Erin was named a finalist for “Non-Profit Executive of the Year” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. 

A non-profit veteran, Erin previously worked at City Year Los Angeles for almost 15 years where she most recently served as the Senior Managing Director of External Affairs. In that role, she led the organization’s public and private funding strategies, government relations, community partnerships and marketing and communications work.

Erin proudly served on the Board of Changeist (formerly Big Citizen HUB) for eight years. She is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University.

Erin graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University. She is also a graduate of Leadership L.A. Erin lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Mike Liotta, son Duncan and dog Rocket.
